I'm Richard Quaicoe, a backend engineer with experience building scalable, production-grade systems across fintech, SaaS and low-latency financial infrastructure. My work centres on reliable APIs, event-driven systems and high-availability services.

At Morgan Stanley I work on the Low Latency Execution Systems team: trading engine test coverage, reliability mechanisms and observability tooling. Outside of that I build and maintain open-source Python libraries, mainly FastAPI TaskFlow and Waygate.
